One of the most strikingly beautiful fish on the Great Barrier Reef is the coral trout, with bright orange colouring and tiny electric blue spots. As soon as I spotted this pretty fish in the distance, I approached slowly with minimal hand movement and slow breathing so as not to spook her. She allowed me to get close enough for a photo before swimming into the reef for protection. Show more
