Czech and jigged nymphs to inverted streamer patterns, Core’s C4647 Jig Hooks are versatile enough for all of your freshwater needs. These hooks ride point up and are made with a 60-degree jig bend, which makes them perfect for Czech style nymphs or anytime you want a nymph or streamer that’s snag-resistant. Their barbless black nickel finish also looks ultra clean while remaining sharp enough for any battle. From drifting nymphs tight to the bottom to strip-setting your first streamer eat of spring, Core’s C4647 Jig Hooks have your back for it all. Uses With a 60-degree bend, these hooks are great for tying inverted streamers and nymphs, and many tiers turn to these hooks when whipping up Czech style nymphs. Made in sizes 4 through 20, these hooks let you match anything from tiny caddis and mayflies all the way to large stoneflies and baitfish imitations. Comparisons If you’re looking for an alternative to the C4647 Jig Hooks, Umpqua has just that with their XC 400BL-BN 60 Degree Jig Hooks. These hooks also have a 60 degree bend and barbless construction, so you can use them to tie the same patterns that you would with Core’s C4647 Hooks, but one difference is that Umpqua’s XC 400BL-BN 60 Degree Jig Hook aren’t made in the larger sizes that Core’s option is, so if you want to tie up some streamers or larger nymphs, the C4647 is the way to go.
