CORE CHARGE & RETURN POLICY STOP! Please read carefully to avoid costly delays with your core return. Step 1 – Verify Deadline Cores must be returned within 180 days of receiving the original product. (See “Deadline Policy” below.) Step 2 – Request a Return Authorization Number Before sending anything back, you must request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. This ensures your return can be tracked and properly credited. Step 3 – Wait for Instructions After submitting your RMA request, you will be provided with a return number and shipping address. In many cases, cores are returned directly to the manufacturer—please follow the instructions provided to avoid delays. Step 4 – Package the Core Properly Use the original box if possible, or another box that is strong enough to protect the product. Seal the core in a plastic bag to prevent fluid leaks. Use sufficient packing material to cushion the part and reduce the risk of shipping damage. Securely seal the package with packing tape. Step 5 – Label the Package Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the box. Attach your purchased shipping label. (See “Return Shipping Policy” below.) Step 6 – Ship the Core Send the package using a reliable carrier. What is a Core? When a product is sold as rebuilt or remanufactured, it usually requires the return of your old part. The old part is refurbished so it can be resold to another customer. Since many parts are no longer in production, your old component (the “core”) is essential to this process. Common parts requiring cores include: Injectors Fuel pumps Engines Turbochargers Transmissions What is a Core Charge? A Core Charge is the deposit or fee assigned to your old part if you choose not to return it. The amount depends on the part’s cost and availability. In some cases, the core charge can even exceed the cost of the part itself, due to rarity. By returning your core: You receive a refund of the core charge. The manufacturer secures a part for future refurbishment. Failure to return a core means you will forfeit the refund. Core Return Policy Deadline: Cores must be returned within 180 days of receiving your product. After 180 days, refunds are not guaranteed and will be at the discretion of the manufacturer or remanufacturer. Refund Policy: Returns made within 0–120 days: Eligible for a refund to the original payment method. Returns made after 120 days (up to 180 days): Eligible for store credit only. Credit may be full, partial, or denied depending on inspection results. Please allow up to 4 weeks after the core is received for inspection and refund processing. Return Shipping Policy: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Use a carrier that provides tracking and insurance. Shipping costs will not be reimbursed. The seller/manufacturer is not responsible for lost, damaged, or freight-penalized shipments. Acceptance Policy: To be eligible for a core refund, the returned part must meet the following conditions: All fluids drained and sealed in a plastic bag (no leaks). Like-for-like return: must match the make, model, type, and part number of the original. No salvage or junkyard parts. No missing or damaged major components. Not disassembled. Must be in rebuildable condition. Refund eligibility is ultimately at the discretion of the manufacturer or remanufacturer. Denied Cores: If your core is denied, you may request it to be returned to you within 30 days, provided you pay return shipping. Denied cores not claimed within 30 days will be scrapped and disposed of.
