CORE XR X Kite The Legend. Tuned for Tomorrow. The CORE XR X is built for riders who want high-performance freeride comfort, massive Big Air potential, long hang time, and controlled landings. Known as one of the benchmark kites in kiteboarding, the XR X continues CORE’s legendary XR platform with updated materials, precise handling, and the powerful 5-strut feel riders trust when conditions get strong. Whether you are cruising around Tampa Bay, boosting over flat water, riding powered in St. Petersburg, or chasing your next personal Big Air session, the CORE XR X delivers the control, stability, and confidence needed to get more out of every session. High Performance Freeride and Big Air The CORE XR X is designed for riders who want a kite that can do it all while still excelling in Big Air and freeride performance. It offers smooth power delivery, huge lift, extended hang time, easy water relaunch, and dependable stability in a wide range of wind conditions. For its tenth generation, CORE updated the XR X with ExoTex® 3 high-performance Dacron in the leading edge. This new material features reduced stretch, improved tear strength, and more precise steering response without adding unnecessary weight. The result is a kite that feels direct, strong, and refined in the air. Why Riders Choose the CORE XR X The XR X keeps the proven 5-strut frame that made the XR series famous. This structure gives the kite excellent stability, dependable power, and strong performance in powered conditions. Combined with CORE’s CoreTex® 2 Triple Ripstop Canopy, the XR X feels crisp, responsive, and predictable from takeoff to landing. This kite is ideal for riders who want comfortable cruising, explosive boosts, easy depower, and a durable build that can handle serious sessions. From intermediate riders progressing into higher jumps to advanced riders chasing more height and hang time, the XR X is a premium choice.
