Coreopsis verticillata is a wonderful native perennial that's prized for its delicate, thread-like foliage and cheerful daisy-like flowers. It's a member of the Asteraceae family a nd is native to the eastern United States, including parts of Georgia. Coreopsis verticillata is a host for the Silvery Checkerspot Buckeye butterfly, and attracts several other butterflies with its flowers. Type: Perennial Origins: Southeast N.
