Helanthium augustifolia 'Vesuvius' used to be known as an Echinodorus sword, but has been reclassified. It is also known as a 'Corkscrew Chain Sword' Vesuvius is a smaller, bright green sword, with thin leaves growing in an undulating manner; very much like an erupting volcano! An easy to care for sword, Vesuvius propagates readily by sending out runners. Very easy-to-keep plant that needs neither Co2 or high lights to thrive.
