Of course, veteran respected rappers returning with anti-bling efforts is a style that's reached critical mass, but with lines like "Maybe I'm too advanced for crack babies/My impact is similar to Basquiat paintings" ("Mars"), comet Cormega can feel free to pick the topic anytime he enters our orbit. "I paid dues in the streets/Respect is my receipt" is the true talk that comes from "Honorable" with special guest Raekwon, and if any of this sounds ponderous or heavy-handed to a fault, Professor and Cormega keep things popping with music and hooks that are vibrant and/or approachable.
