These dolls are made with natural corn husks & wrapped with twine, each measuring about 6-7" tall & 3" wide. They are adorned with a smock & hood also made with natural corn husks, a small bundle of natural wheat sheaves, & come in a "dress" style. Since these dolls are handcrafted from natural materials, the exact size & look will vary slightly per doll. Each doll will also include a small information card with the following: The Corn Husk Doll symbolizes the spirit of the corn & the great harvests. It represents the Maiden as a symbol of fertility, vitality, the natural cycle of life, death, & rebirth much like the cycle of crops & the seasons.
