This painting offers a profound exploration of both external and internal Cornish landscapes. Spanning a panoramic view across the terrain of Cornwall, this work began as a simple sketch but as it evolved it started to reference the county’s mining heritage. As you journey across the three paintings, you traverse from the remnants of mining ruins towards a representation of the coast. Acrylic and charcoal on board by Simon Lewis Birch.
