This is from the Dogwood Family which are noted for their brightly coloured winter stems. Best grown in sun or partial shade in a moisture retentive soil. Midwinter fire as the nam e describes has vibrant orange winter stems.Features: As a guide this plant can grow to 200cm x 200cm When planting this shrub in the open ground it is best planted with a mixture of your garden soil and a good quality Tree and Shrub Compost. If suitable for containers then we recommend John Innes No3 Compost or a good quality Multipurpose compost.
