J.J. Corry was more than a publican. In the 1890s, his shop in the vibrant port town of Kilrush was a treasure trove of curiosities from across the world - tea, tobacco, musical in struments, rum, and his famed Corry’s Special Malt. It was a whiskey of its time, made available by the glass or by the jar at his shop on Henry Street. Now, over a century later, we have brought Corry’s Special Malt back to life. This is not a replica, but a reinterpretation. Our first ever peated expression in our core range, it is a vatting of peated and non-peated malt whiskeys aged between four and nine years in Bourbon, Palo Cortado, Oloroso and Amontillado casks.
