The rarest album recorded by French cult band Cortex. Although not as heavily sampled as their debut album (the sublime Troupeau Bleu), 1977's Vol. 2 is equally satisfying with so many moments of euro jazz-funk madness and atmospheric bliss. This fully instrumental album is what you imagine a euro-rarity to sound like: moody keys, tight drums, the ill bassist in the corner (with the cover to match of course).
