Featured as the first in a series of historic drive-in restaurants, Bob’s Big Boy is a typical drive-in found in Southern California. It is home of the Original Double Deck Hamburg er and has the larger than life Shoney’s Big Boy near the entrance to the restaurant. Palm trees, sidewalk tables, and umbrellas make a perfect setting. I’ve celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the 1967 model year Corvette by placing five in the painting. The Goodwood Green coupe and Marina Blue convertible are parked across the street because they were the most popular colors of ’67. I don’t often paint green Corvettes but felt this one really hit the mark. Show more
