A densely-branching, broadly pyramidal form with a strong central leader, this Corylus has copper bark dramatically exfoliating to cream, much as a river birch, and lovely, long ca tkins draping the then leafless tree. This is one for the many looking for a mid-size tree, handsomely regular, pink-tinged in spring and brilliant gold in fall, interesting in winter with its papery bark, and marvelous for shade—an all-season tree!
