Course Description This course is aimed at all personnel who in the course of their daily duties handle or use substances and are required as part of their duties to undertake assessments for safe handling, storage and disposal in line with COSHH 2002. Candidates will carry out an COSHH assessment as part of the course requirement. How long is it 4 hours Aims To ensure delegates have a good understanding of how the COSHH regulations apply to their daily work routines, the need to identify and assess all substances that will be used or stored and how to dispose of materials in line with current environmental guidelines. Objectives On completion of the course, delegates will be able to: • Have a broad understanding of the existing legislation surrounding COSHH 2002 • How to carry out a COSHH Assessment and implement the findings. • How a safely store, use and dispose of substances • How to identify hazards and the risk potential Maximum Delegates 12 Is there an assessment Yes- 15 questions – minimum of 12/15 to pass
