Domaine Charvin 'Côtes du Rhône' 2023 Region: Rhône, France Grapes: Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, Carignan Vineyard: Organic Cellar: Native yeast fermentation, unfined, unfiltered, l ow added sulphites. Laurent Charvin is best known for his magisterial and long lived Châteauneuf-du-Pape but he takes just as much care and follows the same methods to produce his straight Côtes du Rhône; very high quality fruit, whole bunch fermentation and ageing in concrete. This offers everything you'd expect in terms of dark fruit and spice but it's not heavy-handed. Rich but beautifully balanced. Show more
