A large deciduous shrub, 'Flame' has dark green leaves which turn stunning shdes of bright orange, red and yellow in autumn before falling. In the summer large panicules of smoke-l ike dark pink flowers appear which stand out well against the green foliage. Plant in well drained and worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union and above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until the tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after the new growth.
