Temperature: 24–26°C (75–79°F).Salinity: 1.025 SG.Alkalinity: 8–10 dKH.Calcium: 420–450 ppm.Magnesium: 1250–1350 ppm. Placement: Place in the mid-level or bottom of the tank, allowing for expansion. Avoid the sandbed if it causes debris to settle on the coral. Feeding: While photosynthetic, they benefit from weekly feeding of meaty foods (e.g., Mysis shrimp). Aggression: They possess long "sweeper" tentacles that can sting and kill nearby corals.
