Combination axe blade on one end and a mattock blade for digging or grubbing on the other end. Forged steel head, heat treated working ends produce fine grain structure and RC 45-5 5 Rockwell hardness value for safety, edge holding and toughness. Hand sharpened, single bit edge and mattock blade. Double bit American hickory handle, with axe head hydraulically seated onto handle with a serrated aluminium wedge.
