Original Artwork, only 1 available. Pairs beautifully with 'Tourmente'. The mistral arrives in gusts insisting to be felt. The winds converge with force, consuming the land, the sky, and the mind. My work explores its invisible by mighty force as marks across paper, often seen through the erratic movement of the Provençal botanical landscapes, the light and shadow swirling together and apart in nature’s dance. This piece is a part of a small series inspired by the famous winds of Provence, the mistral. It was made for a themed exhibition for a collective Gordien art show "le MIstral" which was on display at "le chapel des Pénitents blancs" in the village of Gordes. The visual effects of each piece are dependent on the viewer's position and the lighting. Thus the piece takes on an ever changing presence from all angles and times of day/night.
