Hammer the nails gently into the nail sockets until the hook is flush against the wall. The raised nail sockets on the hook will guide the nails into the wall at the proper 45-degree angle. Avoid overhammering as it can compromise the hook’s holding power and damage your wall. If using two hooks, space them apart evenly and repeat steps 1-2.
