This decorative piece is formed from a smooth-red stoneware claybody. It is coil built, formed by layering hand-rolled coils of clay to shape the vessel gradually by hand. The outside is left unglazed so the piece retains the raw surface of the clay, allowing the material itself to remain the primary expression of form. The surface is brushed with white slip — liquid clay applied to create soft dimension and tonal variation. Well-suited to a shelf, console, or tabletop as a subtle sculptural presence. The Cove collection explores mass and void through grounded, substantial forms. Surfaces retain the tactile traces of hand and process, emphasizing material weight and sculptural presence. Apertures, curves, and sculpted openings shape how each form interacts with light, shadow, and space, balancing monumentality and intimacy. The collection carries quiet possibility — as a reservoir, a cradle for plants, or simply a presence in space — offering objects that are elemental, contemplative, and enduring. This vessel is food safe. Widest Diameter: 6.5” Shortest Diameter: 3” Height: 7.5”
