The Covert — TSG Blades Fixed Blade The Covert was developed the same way the Overt was — through years of operational experience and a straightforward question: what does a fixed blade need to do, and what gets in the way of it doing that? The answer shaped everything from the blade profile to the skeletonized full tang to the way the sheath rides. The profiles are different, but they share much of the same DNA. The TSG Covert is the fixed blade that appeared in Season 2, Episode 4 of The Terminal List on Amazon Prime, and in its spin-off series Dark Wolf. Designed with the intention to build a knife that doesn't just look the part on screen, but acts the part off screen. Built Around the Blade The Covert runs Magnamax steel with a polished, razor-sharp edge. At 3.31 inches, the blade is slightly shorter than the Overt, which was a deliberate choice. The Covert was designed to be a concealment and secondary-carry fixed blade, something that disappears into a loadout and deploys fast. The blade spine is 0.10 inches, keeping the profile thin and the weight down without giving up structural integrity. The full tang runs skeltonized through the handle, which balances the knife in hand and shaves weight without compromising the feel of a solid fixed blade. G10 handle scales and a 416 hardware package keep it consistent with TSG's standard for domestically sourced materials. The Formed Kydex sheath includes an Ulti-Clip for left or right carry configuration, the same setup on the Overt, because if it works it works. Two SKUs, One Standard The Covert ships in two configurations, both running black G10 handle scales and blacked-out hardware. The Black PVD variant gives you a full stealth profile — black blade, black hardware, black scales. Low visibility, clean look, and the PVD coating adds a layer of corrosion resistance that holds up in hard-use conditions. The Stone Wash variant keeps the same black hardware and handle scales but gives you a stone-washed blade finish. Slightly more texture on the surface, hides wear better over time, and gives the knife a different character in hand. Two finish choices depending on use and preference.
