From the highest peaks on this planet to your local tree run, the Covert Splitboard is built for all mountain versatility in the backcountry. The tapered, directional shape with positive camber provides touring stability and confident edge hold, while early rise in the nose ensures reliable float when the snow gets deep. A classic kick-tail brings freestyle inspired maneuverability whether threading technical terrain, riding switch, or adding creativity to your descent. Approachable yet capable, the Covert is equal parts tool and toy: efficient on the skin track, expressive on the ride down, and ready for whatever line lies ahead. Handcrafted in Austria, the Covert Split is designed for riders who want one board to handle it all - versatile, dependable, and rooted in freeride progression. About the redesign In the spirit of “getting there” we brought Nick in to add a magic touch to the new Covert and get it to that next stage of refinement. When the world’s top splitboarders bring insight, we implement. Nick loves the geometry of the Covert, but he saw an opportunity to modify some flex characteristics in the nose and tail to provide even more precision during his technical mountain exploits. What we created will take you from backyard laps to the wildest corners of the Earth. The High Sierra is Nick’s home range. Known as the Range of Light, these mountains holdan allure that draws you in, a landscape of endless discovery. The 26/27 Covert graphic pays homage to this inspiring place, its layered topography revealing the flow of one of Nick’s favorite zones. Deep in the mountains, the Covert becomes his tool for exploration, tracing topo lines across his field of vision, leading him beyond the horizon, where new contours wait to be found.
