More than just a calcium bolus Advanced Support for Fresh Calved Cows CowCal utilises Advanced Matrix Bolus Technology to deliver essential calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and Vit D3 precisely when fresh calved cows experience critically low blood calcium levels, helping to prevent milk fever (hypocalcemia) and associated metabolic disorders. This innovative bolus contains a unique combination of three distinct calcium sources, each with varying release rates, ensuring both rapid dissolution and sustained calcium availability in the bloodstream. With a substantial calcium content of 47 grams, CowCal is formulated to meet the heightened demands of lactating cows during this crucial period. Key Benefits: Multi-Source Calcium Delivery: The combination of three calcium sources provides both immediate and prolonged calcium release, addressing both acute and chronic needs. Enhanced Calcium Absorption: Enriched with Vitamin D3, which facilitates optimal calcium absorption, ensuring effective utilization. Additional Nutritional Support: Includes magnesium and phosphorus to support overall metabolic health and optimize calcium efficacy when it is needed most. Liver Protection and Rumen Activity: Formulated to help protect liver function and enhance rumen activity, promoting better overall health during the transition period. Increased Glycaemia During Calving: Supports higher blood glucose levels during calving, providing essential energy during this critical time. CowCal is a vital tool for dairy producers seeking to maintain the health and productivity of their fresh calved cows, ensuring they have the necessary calcium to thrive during the demanding lactation period.
