The Cow Skull was carved after one of Alex’s first trips to Tucson over a decade ago. During this time he visited the Tohono O’odham Nation Reservation and explored the Sonoran des ert, known to be the hottest desert in the United States. At the same time, it is also home to more species of flora and fauna than any other desert.
