Bulkhead Outrigger - a welded chassis-frame bracket that supports and locates the bulkhead (firewall) on the chassis rails, part of the chassis frame assembly. It provides the stru ctural mounting point where the bulkhead ties into the frame and carries the load between the two, and on early chassis it also serves as an anchor for adjacent brackets such as the exhaust front-pipe mount. This is the 80" wheelbase outrigger. Supplied as a weld-on repair section for chassis restoration where the original outrigger has corroded or been damaged. Show more
