The Aeroshield CPR Face Shield is a single-use barrier placed over the nose and mouth when rescue breaths are given during CPR. One shield is supplied, in a clear vinyl film with an integrated one-way valve. Aero Healthcare states the valve promotes hygienic rescue breaths and reduces backflow. This is the shield on its own. The pouch keyring and the pouch-with-gloves versions are separate items. It is also called a mouth-to-mouth barrier or a CPR face shield. It is a different presentation to a pocket resuscitation mask, which has a cushioned mask body and a head strap and comes in a hard case.
