Match the hatch! Our crab carapaces are precision cut in-house from premium and thick synthetic felt. Size perfectly to fit the Flats Craft range of claws, but you can use on your own creations too. See size chart below fore recommended claws and hooks. We recommend E6000 or Loctite Gel Super Glue for assembly. *Hooks vary in size from brand to brand so sizing can vary. We have paired with our shells with All Flats Craft range claws and their recommended Ahrex hooks with great results. You can see the recommended hooks on each of the Crab Claw pages. Orientation of the shell on the hook can also make a big difference in hook size. Please experiment for yourself and send us any feedback so we can add to our list.
