I painted this study as part of a Christmas challenge where we painted a certain subject every week. The crabapple week was super fun, because who doesn't love the challenge of red in a painting? I ended up painting this, setting is aside and then coming back into it months later to deepen the reds and redefine the leaves. This was painted on Arches 140 lb. cold press paper. It is an original watercolor painting with lightfast pigments. It will need to be professionally framed. The art size is 16.5x12.
