This crackling effect is achieved using a two part process. To increase the adhesion of the paste and promote cracking, it is strongly advised to prepare the surface with phase 1 ( included). The crackle effect modeling paste (phase 2) has a very paste like consistency and should be applied with a palette knife. *The depths of the cracks vary with the thickness of the application of the paste.
