This is a ceramic tokkuri, or flask that is suitable for both cold and warm sakes. This sake set is designed with a crazing technique, a network of lines or cracks in the fired gla zed surface. It happens when a glaze is under tension. A craze pattern can develop immediately after removal from the kiln. Each piece has a unique design and color variation and may look slightly different.
