The Craft Design Technology Scissors have a fully symmetrical handle and blade shape, so they cut the same whether held in the left hand or the right. They are cut from brushed sta inless steel and assembled with a screw rather than a fixed rivet, a detail that lets the blades be taken apart and resharpened instead of replaced. Craft Design Technology, the Japanese design label behind the tool, had it manufactured in Seki, Gifu Prefecture, a district with a centuries-old reputation for sword and blade craftsmanship.
