First take the two bottles of iron salts (ammonium iron citrate and potassium ferricyanide) – mix them with water – and leave them for 24 hours before use. This creates a light-sensitive fluid that you can activate with the power from the sun. Try it on paper, fabric or an egg. The covered areas remain chalky white while the sun’s rays transform the exposed parts into deep blue images.
