These embroidery scissors, first spotted in a notions shop in Rome, are heirloom tools that you will use for years to come. The scissors are cast in the lovely shape of a crane and are finely engraved with feathers and other details. The blades are nickel-plated, and a thin layer of 24-karat gold has been applied to the rest of the scissors for a beautiful finish. Crafted in Italy from hard tempered steel, these little shears are extremely sharp–perfect for cutting ribbon and other textiles, without becoming dull.
