The Craven 2 Tier Serving Trolley is a straightforward, well-built stainless steel trolley designed for moving food, crockery, or service items around a commercial environment. With two usable shelf levels and a 50kg total capacity, it covers the everyday demands of cafeteria service, banqueting support, ward rounds, and general kitchen porter work without overcomplicating the task.In practice, this type of trolley earns its keep in high-footfall settings where staff need to transport plated dishes, trays, or bulk supplies between prep areas, service counters, and dining rooms. The stainless steel construction stands up to regular cleaning and the knocks of a busy service environment, and at 13kg unladen it remains manageable for most kitchen staff to handle without difficulty.Practical advantages for day-to-day use include: Stainless steel surfaces wipe down quickly, supporting good hygiene practice Two shelf tiers allow separation of clean and used items during service A 50kg rated capacity handles loaded tray sets without strain Compact footprint suits tighter service corridors and lift access Suited to a wide range of environments from kitchens to care settings No electrical or plumbing connections are required. The main practical consideration is floor surface — this trolley performs well on smooth or lightly textured flooring but may not be the right choice for uneven or heavily cambered surfaces. For sites with heavier throughput or where larger load capacities are needed, heavier-duty alternatives are worth considering. This trolley suits smaller catering operations, care homes, school kitchens, hotel banqueting support, and similar environments where a reliable, easy-to-clean service trolley is needed without unnecessary complexity. If you are unsure whether this model suits your specific service flow or environment, we are happy to talk it through.
