In this 4-week after-school class, we will use stop-motion animation as a tool for storytelling and building one's artistic voice. We'll learn about storyboarding, build props, backdrops, and the confidence necessary for bold creative expression (but also patriarchy toppling). We'll wrap up the last week of class with a micro film festival sharing the work created during the class. *All levels of experience welcome! Created for artists ages 12 and up (please reach out if you have a younger artist who is interested). We'll meet from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm on Mondays (April 6th -20th, and May 4) *Bring your own iPad or phone (iOS 16.6 or later) with Stop Motion Studio installed. Both the free version and the paid (one-time $5.99) version will work. I'll send you a link to the app with registration confirmation.
