Using hand dyed wool, silk and cotton threads stitch abstract flowers and leaves with a variety of contemporary stitches to create a beautiful textural piece. This technique of enhancing fabric is a great way to add detail to your own garments too. I will send you home with additional threads to complete your lovely stitching. You are welcome to bring along some of your own fabrics too. This class is suitable for beginners and those who want to extend their knowledge of embroidery, colour and creating texture.
