Date: 9th September - 14th October 2026Schedule: Wednesdays - Weekly over 6 weeks Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm Join us this Autumn for a six-week creative writing course. In a supportiv e, encouraging group environment, you’ll be introduced to ideas and exercises to get you writing and improve your skills. There’ll also be opportunities to share your work and receive constructive feedback (if you’d like to). You’ll leave with a notebook full of stories, poems and ideas along with a toolkit of resources and information to help you continue writing after the course has finished. The course is suitable for beginners or anyone wanting time and inspiration to write. The course is led by writer and experienced workshop tutor Amanda Quinn, who has taught creative writing for over ten years in community centres, libraries, day centres and schools across the North East. She is particularly interested in helping people benefit from being creative in their everyday lives and her sessions are designed to be relaxing and enjoyable as well as inspiring. Show more
