Course Summary: Creative Writing is a class focusing on the process of building a story. If your student has taken Literary Elements 1 & 2, then they have learned the fundamental elements of the story (character, plot, setting, theme, point of view) and some of the literary devices which make the story interesting (symbolism, motif, flashback, foreshadow, allegory, imagery).
