“Creature Comforts" is a hand-carved linocut and woodcut mix - with a 10 color reduction process. This print features a lovely cardinal overlooking a wooded winter scene with a qua int cabin. Cardinals have many meanings for many people, often times the creatures are comforting, but the same way as a warm cabin fire is on a crisp winter morning. The print is made on roughly 7x10 inch Rives BFK handmade paper with a natural deckled edge. A reduction print is a carving that is cut from the same block, printed, then cut again, then print and repeated until the final image is complete.
