Its modern appearance was what first caught our attention: contemporary angles, clean lines, an digital display just above the E61 group, half-turn knobs, a double manometer, customizable side panels, the metallic feet—it's a look that's familiar, but fundamentally reimagined. Even down to the name, the ONE is a confident machine and it has every reason to be. Features and Performance For features, there's a lot to admire. For the HX model, the PID display doubles as a shot timer. The 1.7 liter copper boiler is capped by brass end plates and, as a heat exchange machine, you can expect to brew and steam at the same time. The steam and hot water wands are no-burn, and the knobs only need half a turn to open up their respective valves. The ONE HX PID uses a vibration pump and, incredibly, it's plumbable so you can connect directly to your water line, which is something most vibration pump machines are incapable of.
