This top-down shawl begins with two-color brioche followed by garter stitch short row rays. Increases at each edge and in the body of the shawl gradually shape the smooth semi-circ le. The short row wedges form a cool crescendo effect until you reach the border. The shawl concludes with a twisted rib smock stitch followed by a fluffy picot bind off. I used Qing Fibre’s fingering weight Yak Singles yarn for the main color with their Melted Baby Suri for the cloudy contrast color.
