It should feel close and supportive through the heel and mid-foot, while leaving enough space at the toes for downhill walking. Try the boots on with the socks you normally hunt or hike in. If you are between sizes, measure both feet while standing and use the larger foot as your guide. Care & Warranty Regular care will help keep your Valdres Evo GTX boots comfortable, waterproof and ready for the next hunt. Brush off mud and dirt after each hunt or hike. Clean boots after exposure to mud, salt water or animal waste. Allow boots to dry naturally in a warm, ventilated place. Do not dry boots directly beside a fire, heater or on a hot floor.
