A snowflake is geometry at its most disciplined: strict symmetry, grown outward from a single point. Cristallo #2 takes that crystalline logic and sets it turning — the snowflake’s radial structure is drawn out into ribs that sweep clockwise around the shade, so a static form gains rotation without a moving part.Unlit, the ribs sit in low relief on the matte EcoLux surface — our eco-friendly bio-based polymer. Switched on, the material turns softly translucent and the ribs cast fine shadow lines that follow the twist, banding the light as it falls.It is one half of a mirrored pair. Its anticlockwise twin turns the other way, and hung together the two resolve each other — matched forms, opposed rotation.Each shade is designed and 3D-printed piece by piece, made to order in our studio.
