What a great axe! The guitar includes several upgrade options: top binding, flamed maple cap fretboard, B and G benders by Kirkpatrick Benders. The benders alone are a $1000 upgrade when ordering a guitar from Crook. Crook Custom guitars are build by Bill Crook, who has become popular for building Brad Paisley's guitars. This is a quality build that plays great with nice fret work and killer tone. The body is swamp ash. The stock neck pickup is from ADC, an Adder Plus Hot/Clear neck pickup, made by Melvin Lace - brother of Don Lace. The pair is said to have invented the Lace Sensor pickup. The bridge pickup is a VooDoo Tele bridge pickup, a staple in Crook builds. The guitar comes with just about the nicest soft case I've ever seen. A strap is included with the parts to connect to one of the benders.
