The Cross Extending Table by Matthew Hilton is a fine example of advanced wood manufacturing techniques. Made from a solid wood base, with a veneered top, it has two extendable lea ves that are stored in the frame when the table is in a closed position. The table is large, yet retains a visual balance due to its unusually thick top. The design of the base allows for 6 to 8 chairs, or 12 to 14 when extended.
