An easy card trick to perform which allows you to predict the spectator's choice of card by apparently marking it by Magic. (This is also one of our favourites to demonstrate) ConceptYou fan the deck showing both sides before asking a spectator to think of any card. You then give them an 'invisible pen' and ask them to place an 'X' on the deck. After handing you the pen back (they're not cheap you know) you ask them to name out loud their chosen card. Fan through the deck until you locate their chosen card and place it on the spectators hands. How do they know it was their card? When they turn it over they will discover that their card is the only one that has been marked by a large hand drawn cross.
