About This Print Crowned in Light was captured on a drive into Kananaskis on a morning with nothing special planned, just a quiet day in the mountains, when the peak ahead lit up a s if someone had turned on a spotlight. That particular quality of alpine light, where the summit catches the sun before everything below and seems to burn from within, is one of the most breathtaking things James has ever witnessed. The camera was out before the decision was fully conscious. The light lasted maybe two minutes. The mountains operate on their own schedule and they don't wait.
