01099100 Engine Oil Filter Housing Gasket Product Description When changing the oil filter, it is important that the oil filter housing gasket is also in good condition. Common sym ptoms of a failing gasket include the Engine Oil Light coming on, oil dripping from the filter, and lower than normal oil pressure. BMW changed the original gasket (OE# 11427537293) to address the leaks occurring due to a design flaw in the housing. This gasket supercedes Ajusa # 01099000 / OE# 11427537293.
